William Michael Rossetti


1829 – 1919.

Born in London, he was a son of immigrant Italian scholar Gabriele Rossetti, and the brother of Maria Francesca Rossetti, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Christina Georgina Rossetti.

William Michael Rossetti is one of those historical figures I'd love to meet. He was such an interesting guy, and a very good brother to DGR. I love his writings about the PRB. I definitely think he (and perhaps Millais) were the nicest members of the PRB!
