I have come back to the Pre-Raphaelites this semester, both in their original incarnation and after the Brotherhood was reformed. I am still most sympathetic to Rossetti, I think :)
I've just come across a lot of new Rossetti material but I've never taken to him as a human being. Elsewhere we've been debating how much latitude a 'genius' should be given. Rossetti's treatment of Lizzie was disgraceful.
