    These are wonderful

    They expose the germ of the painting. Often they are more powerful than a oil that has been "slaved" over for months.

    The energy jumps from this sketchbook.

    I was 'taught' to judge a great artist by their drawing skills (always look at the hands I was told) and these struck me as pretty damn good.
