Yes, one gains so much more from blogging than I had ever expected when I started out.
And what astonishes me is that you manage to find so many paintings and drawings to show at all! It's amazing. You must spend a lot of time both in research and in posting. Your blogs are a veritable resource - like a very neatly catalogued and easily accessible gallery on line.
I'm wondering how many students of art know about them. Lucy
Thanks Lucy. I love researching and if you saw my Victorian flat it is full of books - everywhere! My Victorian Art blog gets nearly twice as many hits as this one which surprises me but I do get a lot of emails about them both - often wanting valuations of course. But I love all the blogs I get to read too. Its great seeing other peoples ideas and experiences. I was at a workshop in Devizes today (National Lottery) and met the head of Wiltshire Dancers. Fascinating lady.
Isn't this brilliant?
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
List of superlatives . . . .

I just never cease finding new works like this that are just so good. I do so enjoy blogging.
