Hi, I am an avid William Morris fan and so am naturally drawn to your site. I am learning so many interesting things here, thank you! I have always loved WM's bed and I have recently become obsessed with finding images of the curtains so I can attempt to fashion one of my own. I have searched the far corners of the web and come up with very little. Do you by chance know of an image source for the tree and bird embroidered curtains? Thank you.
After lots of searching, I finally found a detail of the tapestry here: http://thetextileblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/may-morris-and-embroidered-tapestry.html I also took the suggestion and wrote to Kelmscott for more info on it. If people are interested, I will share here if I find out more...
