Mary Seton Fraser Tytler (married name Mary Seton Watts) (1849 – 1938) was a symbolist craftswoman, designer and social reformer.

Mary Seton Watts, née Fraser-Tytler after George Frederic Watts

The present watercolour is a miniature copy after Watts's famous painting in Tate Britain, by the artist who became his second wife in 1886.
