The traces of wall and ceiling paintings revealed something special: the work of Edward Burne-Jones, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Elizabeth Siddal, Ford Madox Brown and William Morris himself. Amazing!!! Were there no contemporary written records of the art work about to be carried out?

Thanks Hels. There are very few contemporary descriptions let alone photos of Red House at this period, unfortunately.
