I love most Pre Raphaelite paintings, so I would love to see the Tate Exhibition. But some words worry me - "they wanted to purify British art", "they wanted to change society with their art", "they rebelled against previously important artists". Every new generation in the history of humanity wanted to find a new direction for itself, different from the parents. And every new school had sharp critics.

Thanks Helen, personally I think the Tate is confused. The early PRB were radical and challanging but Burne-Jones, Waterhouse and late Millais - never.
