*sigh* I wish I had this book list when my students were studying the Pre-Raphaelites. The only very useful book that I cannot find on the list is Tim Barringer's book called "Reading the Pre-Raphaelites", published by Yale UP in 1999.

I haven't got that. I'm lucky as I have an expert PRB bookshop in my next town and my local library are wonderful.

You are lucky! In Italy there are few books about Pre-Raphaelites. Only one is new; I read a book print in 1908!
In Italy nobody studies this Brotherhood... only a crazy girl like me e some professor.

Do they not have an Italian Amazon Lucretzia - but we are lucky over here, with some great galleries.
