Evelyn de Morgan - Crown of Glory

Showing a rich courtesan taking off her jewellery whilst looking at a tapestry (or fesco) depicting the mystical marriage between St Francis and Poverty. It seems to have been inspired by a Giotto fresco in Assisi.

It is a fantastic work, my girlfriend introduced me to the world of arts, she paints in oils, and she is a really good talent on the raise.
